The Jewish Community has sent a memorandum to the Senate regarding recent attacks on Jewish buildings, particularly the Ohel Itzhak synagogue, pointing out that it was useless to repair damages since new attacks were likely. The memorandum reiterated the demand for sufficient protection of Jewish public buildings and private buildings serving public purposes, declaring that protection could easily be provided in view of the small number of such buildings.
