A campaign to bring the 1935 national convention of the Jewish Veterans of the World War back to Atlantic City will be launched at the next executive council meeting on October 27 in New York City.
Samuel Markowitz, commander of Lieut. Louis Greenstein Post No. 39 here, will present the invitation, and an Atlantic City delegation is expected to accompany him.
The veterans met here in 1932 and 1933. This year they convened in New Britain, Conn. Akron, Ohio has made a bid for the next gathering.
