Austria’s ambassador to the Czech Republic unveiled a plaque honoring Jewish writer Karl Kraus. The April 22 ceremony, which marked the 130th anniversary of Kraus’ birth and was attended by the Czech Republic’s chief rabbi, Karol Sidon, was held in the town of Jicin, where Kraus was born.
