Opposition of the “Daily Express” to Zionism was started at the instance of a number of British Jews, according to a cable received here from Lord Beaverbrook, owner of the paper now visiting Palestine.

Beaverbrook further informs his paper that he has conferred with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and other Arab leaders and announces his intention of continuing his attacks on Zionism.

“The Arabs” Beaverbrook cables “are not anti-Semitic but anti-Zionistic. They wish Zionism to go but Great Britain to stay in Palestine.”
