Refusing to be tried by a Jewish judge, thirty-one Arab Bedouins today dramatically stalked out of court, where they were summoned for land trespassing.

The Jewish judge, Magistrate Harkawi, preferred not to take any action against them. However, they were immediately sentenced by an Arab judge for contempt of court. Sixteen of the Bedouins were fined $25 each or fifteen days imprisonment.
