Isaac Ben Zvi, Jewish labor leader, heading the Jewish Archaeological Expedititon which has been excavating in Upper Galilee, has uncovered in a ruined village a door beam with a Hebrew inscription on it, showing that it dated back to the Talmudic period, or about the second or third century of the Christian era. This discovery of the door beam indicates that where the relic was found there may have been an ancient Jewish hospice or inn.
