Brandeis University has dedicated its new Benjamin H. and Mae Swig Student Center in honor of the San Francisco Jewish leader and his late wife.
The structure, made possible through a gift from Mr. Swig, adjoins five new residence halls in a dormitory complex on the campus. The center’s second story, which contains a student lounge, is connected to the residence halls. Its lower story offers dining facilities for the 330 students living in the dormitories.
