Nelson Tabajara de Oliviera, new Brazilian Ambassador to Israel, today presented his credentials here to President Itzhak Ben Zvi.
President Ben Zvi told the Brazilian envoy that “having a group of Brazilians among us gives us great satisfaction.” He recalled the fact that the President of Brazil visited Israel a few years ago, and expressed the hope that Israeli-Brazilian relations in the future will embrace not only the cultural but also the economic spheres.
