The break-up of the Galilean gangs began early this morning, near Meron, with the spectacular capture of two ringleaders, both residents of Safed. One was identified as belonging to the band of brigands who attacked Faradian. They were captured bp troops who surrounded the valley. Other members of the gang fled, but abandoned two rifles, ammunition and four bayonets.

Further signs of the activities of Arab gangsters in Tel Aviv were revealed in a picture of a “blackhand” with an Arabic inscription on a warehouse.
