The meeting adopted a resolution terming the arms trial a “grave miscarriage of justice and stressed the disparity between the sentences imposed on Arabs and Jews for similar offenses. Both the Johannesburg meeting and a rally in Capetown passed resolutions demanding the abrogation of the White Paper of 1939.
