Britain’s Conservative Party is being criticized for holding its annual meeting on Yom Kippur. The scheduling forced observant members of the party, which boasts a large Jewish constituency and membership, including several prominent members of Parliament, to miss the first two days of the meeting, which began Sunday and ended Wednesday.
