A nationwide campaign for the construction of a Cardinal Cushing Medical Center in Nazareth, Israel, was launched by the National Committee for Labor Israel at a testimonial dinner here in honor of District Attorney John J. Droney. Senator Edward Kennedy, Massachusetts Democrat, and Israel Minister Ephraim Evron, were principal speakers. Some 1,000 guests paid $50 a plate to attend the dinner.
