Pledges to support the $100,000 Zionist Extension Fund for the advancement of American interests in Palestine were made yesterday at a conference of local Zionist leaders addressed by Mendel N. Fisher national field director of the Zionist Organization of America. At a luncheon given Fisher yesterday plans to raise $3,000 toward this fund were discussed.
A state-wide convention of the Ohio Zionist Region will be held here Saturday and Sunday. Morris Rothenberg, president of the national organization, will outline the Zionist program for the ensuing year.
