Clothing Workers Convention Supports Inquiry Committee Report on Palestine

A resolution calling upon the British Government to implement the Anglo-American inquiry committee’s recommendation for the immediate transfer of 100,000 displaced European Jews to Palestine was adopted at the biennial convention of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America, which is meeting here.

The union also urged the United States to case the immigration laws so as to permit more displaced and refugee Jews to enter this country.
