The German origin of the anti-Semitic propaganda in European countries was emphasized in the writings of the late Count Stephan Tisza, Hungarian statesman and premier at the outbreak of the World War.
In a letter dated April, 1915, just made public, Count Tisza wrote “The anti-Semitic state of mind, which I have condemned, is of German origin. Even in Austria, anti-Semitism is mainly spread by the German circles.”
