Six of nine Arabs connected with the Syrian-directed Arab Jewish spy ring were found guilty by a Haifa district court today after pleading guilty to the charges against them. The six agreed to submit guilty pleas after the court, on the request of the prosecution, agreed to drop the most serious charge–conspiring to help the enemy in its war against Israel. That charge carries a penalty of life imprisonment.
