Of eight Arabs tried for looting the Rosh Pinah colony luring the August riots, three were acquitted, two were sentenced to serve one year imprisonment, one received a nine-months’ sentence, two were sentenced to serve three months.
The Court of Appeal confirmed the six months sentences received by Salim Abdel Rahman, member of the Arab Executive, and Berwish Kdadi, both of Tulkarem, who were found guilty of instigation against the Jews and the Government.
