The Order of Knight of the White Lion has been conferred by the government of Czechoslovakia upon Alexander Rieger. The award was made in recognition of Mr. Rieger’s services rendered as Consul of the Czechoslovakian government, in establishing friendly and profitable relations between the Middle West and the Czechoslovakian government.
Mr. Rieger was born in Bartia, now in Czechoslovakia. He is president of the Home Trust Company and of the Community State Bank and has held the post of consul for Czechoslovakia for the past three years.
