All steps will be taken to punish Nazis who assault Polish citizens here, a member of the Free City Senate tonight promised Casimir Papee, Polish High Commissioner to Danzig, the Havas News Agency reported.

The pledge followed a demand by Papee for investigation of an alleged attack on several Polish nations by uniformed Nazis last Friday.

Danziger Voolksstimme, Socialist organ, was suspended for six months tonight by the Government and its director, Anton Foolken arrested. The printing presses and all apparatus was seized.
