Declines to Pay Income Tax As Protest on British Plan

As a protest against the British government’s new Palestine policy, Alfred Felber, a London Jew, today declined to pay his income tax. He informed the Inland Revenue authorities of his refusal in the following terms:

“This refusal is the only means available for me to register an effective protest against the unprincipled action of the British government, namely its attempt to deprive the Jewish people of its rights.”
