Dr. E. Amende, secretary of the National Minorities Congress, issued a statement to the press criticizing the declaration made by the Polish Minister in which Poland repudiates the obligations of the national minority treaties.

Poland could not violate the provisions of the national minority treaties, because the clauses providing protection for national minorities are a part of the general Peace Treaty. If this part is violated, then it means that Poland is not willing to observe the entire Peace Treaty, Dr. Amende stated.
