Dr. James Bernstein, who for the past five years has been director of foreign work of the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society of America (HIAS), returned on the Berengaria on Friday.
Dr. Bernstein will render a report of his activities, at a banquet to be tendered by the board of Directors of Hias, to be held on Tuesday evening, September 24, at the Hias Building, New York City.
