Dr. Joel Brakeman, founder of the Yeshiva of Flattish 42 years ago, died yesterday at the age of 73. He had the title of headmaster emeritus. He retired from active duties about two years ago but maintained an active interest in the institution and served as a consultant. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at Joel Brakeman High School, a division of the yeshiva.
