Dr. Kahn Elected to Committee on International Conference

Dr. Maurice J. Karpf, President of the International Conference of Jewish Social Work and Director of the Graduate School for Jewish Social Work, announced that Dr. Bernhard Kahn, the European Director of the Joint Distribution Committee, was elected a member of the Permanent Committee of the International Conference of Social Work. Dr. Kahn is the only Jew on this Committee.

He was elected on the representation of Dr. Friedrich Ollendorf, of Berlin, Germany, Secretary, and Dr. Maurice J. Karpf, of New York, President of the International Conference of Jewish Social Work, to the officers of the International Conference of Social Work when they requested that a Jewish representative be named to the Permanent Committee.

The next International Conference of Social Work will be held in Oxford University in 1936.
