Dr. Paul Baratov, famous actor of the Russian and Yiddish stage, died here of a heart attack at the age of 78. Dr. Baratov, who used the stage name of Ben Zvi, became famous on the Moscow stage before the turn of the century and came to this country in 1923 where he appeared in many famous Yiddish theatres in various cities. He gave up his medical profession to become an actor. During recent years he played in Hollywood in several films.
