The South African Board of Jewish Deputies elected Dr. Teddy Schneider, a former vice-chairman, as the Board’s new chairman. He succeeded Namie Phillips, who is now president of the Board, Arthur Suzman, Queens Counsel, and Maurice Porter were elected vice-chairmen.
