Tributes on the occasion of his 75th birthday were paid to Dr. Herman Seidel, prominent physician and one of the founders and a vice-chairman of Ampal-American Israel Corporation, at a dinner in his honor tonight. Aryeh Manor, Economic Minister of Israel in the United States, presented Dr. Seidel with a Bible autographed by Israel’s Prime Minister David Ben Gurion.
Active in Labor Zionist and other Jewish affairs since his early youth, Dr. Seidel is chairman of the board of directors of the Israel Histadrut Campaign, and a member of the Zionist Actions Committee of the World Zionist Organization.
