Eddie Cantor, the American radio and screen star, announced at a farewell party tonight before sailing on the Normandie for New York that he has raised $520,000 for the Youtm Aliyam movement for transportation of Jewish children from countries of persecution in Europe to Palestine. Mr. Cantor, who arrived here July II for a month’s stay in England, had set a goal of $100,000. He addressed meetings throughout England under the sponsorship of a committee of prominent women.
