Eddie Cantor, who is now visiting Israel, today told a press conference that he was relinquishing his radio program this fall in the United States to devote 75 percent of his time to the United Jewish Appeal.

Mr. Cantor, who arrived in Israel at the personal invitation of Premier David Ben Gurion, said that during the six weeks prior to his departure far the Jewish state he raised a total of $10,000,000 in cash for the United Jewish Appeal. The visit to Israel, he declared, will give him even greater incentive in his work for the U.J.A.
