The 25th anniversary of the founding of the “Juedische Wochenschau,” a German Jewish weekly, was observed here at a dinner honoring Dr. Hardy Swarsenski, founder, publisher and editor of the paper.
Speakers at the celebration included Prof. Guenther, on behalf of the German Jewish group; Dr. Moises Goldman, chairman of the South American executive of the World Jewish Congress; Aryeh Shefer, counsellor at the Israel Embassy; Dr. Noah Davidovich, on behalf of the DALA, the representative organization of Argentine Jewry; and Mare Turkow, South American director of the World Jewish Congress.
