“Jewish Education Week,” designated by the Jewish Education Association to stimulate interest in Jewish religious education, was observed at scores of parents meetings throughout the city, according to a statement issued by Bernard Semel, honorary president of the Association. The meetings were held under the auspices of Hebrew schools and congregations and, it is believed, resulted in a substantial increase of registration in the Jewish religious schools.
