IN A STATEMENT TO A CONFERENCE ON PALESTINE AT ALEXANDRIA, PRINCE OMAR APPEALED FOR FUNDS FOR THE PALESTINE ARABS AND PROPOSED TO THE PAN-ARAB CONGRESS AT BLUDAN, SYRIA, THAT A SOLEMN COVENANT BE MADE TO “RESCUE” PALESTINE FROM THE JEWS FOR THE ARABS.
