See Original Daily Bulletin From This Date

Europe’s cold wave has reached Palestine.

Defying the record of past years April is a month of cold rains and hail which lasted for two days. The many tourists who have come here for the Passover holiday are walking about in overcoats and furs which they had packed away on arriving.

More inclement weather is predicted for the next few days.

Funeral services were held Sunday for the late Dr. Joseph Barsky, sixty-four, who died in Beth Israel Hospital, New York, in which he had been consulting physician since 1900. He was a graduate of the Pharmaceutical College and the New York University Medical College, class of 1893.

For nearly thirty years Dr. Barsky had been associated with Beth Israel Hospital. He was the President of the Medical Board and was active in developing the social service work.
