Executives of Jewish philanthropies and other public organizations earned between $120,000 and $450,000 in 2002. The 12th annual salary survey by the Chronicle of Philanthropy, published Oct. 2, showed Stephen Solender, president emeritus of the United Jewish Communities federation umbrella, topping the list of Jewish professionals with an annual salary of $450,417, not including benefits.
