Exempt Jewish Pupils from Sabbath Work

Jewish school children in Saxony will not be required to attend school on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur and will also be exempted from writing and kindred work on Saturday and other Jewish holy days.

These concessions for Jewish children were obtained following protracted negotiations between the government officials and representatives of the kehillah.
