A plastic bomb exploded today in the offices of a cardboard manufacturing company in Montreuil owned by Bernard Mantel, a French Jew of German origin. Considerable damage was caused by the blast.

Police investigating the bombing said they have found no clues as yet regarding the perpetrators, but indicated that they suspect the outrage was committed by a secret anti-Semitic group in France, since similar incidents involving Jews, or persons with Jewish-sounding names, have repeatedly occurred in the past.
