Valuable deposits were discovered by a commission of the Ort in the Kalinindorf region.
The deposits are marl and dolomite, used in the manufacture of cement. The construction of a million dollar cement works employing 400 is planned. The cement manufactured will be sufficient to supply all of the Ukraine.
