The first issue of a Jewish monthly publication, “Essentials and Substantialities,” edited by the noted Jewish scholar Samuel H. Setzer, made its appearance here today. It will be devoted to various fields of general and Jewish thinking, Mr. Setzer announced. Among other things it will publish excerpts from Midrash and fragments from “Zohar.” Mr. Setzer is the author of about 20 books.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
