Five Jews Among St. Louis Tornado Victims: Jewish Community Center Damaged

With many of the dead not yet identified, five out of the ninety victims of the tornado were Jewish.

The funeral of Jennie Schneider, seventeen year old Jewish girl, will take place Sunday. Her body was found with four others under the debris of the Central High School.

The property of the Jewish Community Center and the Columbian Club was greatly damaged. The roof of the club was destroyed. Many Jewish business houses and homes were in the way of the storm which devastated the central part of the city.
