Four Israelis wrongfully imprisoned 20 years ago are to receive some $750,000 from the state as compensation for their suffering, a Tel Aviv court ruled. The men were recently acquitted during a retrial on charges of arson and robbery following the admission of one police interrogator that they had been forced into confessing their purported offenses.
