France will introduce legislation to prevent anti-Semitic and racist material from being aired by foreign TV satellite channels. A new bill is to go before Parliament later this month that will allow the country’s public broadcasting commission to act against satellite providers and TV channels that broadcast such material, Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin told guests Saturday at the annual dinner of the CRIF umbrella organization of French Jews.
