The way has been cleared for greater French Government assistance to the OSE in France by the official recognition of seven OSE children’s homes the organization announced. Recognition and approval was granted by a decree of the Ministry of War Victims and Ex-Servicemen.
The Paris Municipal Council, in acknowledgment of Sod’s services, has voted the organization a subsidy in the 1953 municipal budget. In Tunisia, the Ministry of Health has authorized the OSE to provide medical supervision for schools in the country conducted by the Alliance Israelite Universally, the OSE office here announced.
