Funeral services were held here today for Dr. Benjamin Dubovsky, 75, noted physician who devoted a major portion of his career to writing and lecturing on medicine. At the time of his death he was editor of a medical column in the Jewish Daily Forward.
Born in Talno, in the Ukraine, he was brought to the United States by his parents when he was 13 years old. He received his M.D. 12 years later from the New York University College of Medicine. He was the author of numerous books both in English and Yiddish. One of his works, “Jesus, Jews and Gentiles,” published in 1948, stirred considerable controversy.
