Dr. Werner Klrchert, top SS physician at the notorious Buchenwald concentration camp, has been sentenced to four and a half years in the penitentiary by a German court here for injuring, torturing and killing camp patients, among whom were many Jews.
Last year, the court Imposed a three and a half year term upon Dr. Kirchert for the same crimes, but the German Supreme Court vacated the sentence as too mild and referred the case back for retrial.
