German Sentry Executed for Allowing Jewish Prisoners to Escape

Belgian circles here report that a German sentry at the Charleroi Barracks in Belgium was recently executed by the military authorities because he allowed several French Jews detained at Charleroi to escape. His body was left in the barracks courtyard for several hours as a warning to the other guards.
