German Students’ Group Turns Down Numerus Clausus Plan

A conference of representatives of German student organizations held in Freiburg yesterday voted 22 to 3 against the proposal of the anti-Semitic National Socialists to institute numerus clausus restrictions against Jewish students in German universities. Speakers at the conference, which was well attended, declared themselves in opposition to anti-Semitism in the colleges of Germany.
