Greek Catholic, Latin Groups Quarrel over Jaffe Land

A grave dispute has arisen between the Greek Catholic communities and the Roman Catholics in Jafia over a plot of land on which the Greek Catholics plan to establish a church. The land is part of a Roman Catholic cemetery. The case was referred to the Vatican and advice was given that the question be arbitrated by an ecclesiastical court. However, both parties have applied to the civil court.
