Greetings to the national conference of the Israel-Soviet Friendship League in Tel Aviv were sent by Edward Raiber, chairman of the Jewish Social and Cultural Association here on behalf of the Association, and by Samuel Tenenblat, editor of Folkstimme, on behalf of the newspaper collective. Folkstimme is the Association’s news weekly. Tenenblat wrote in his message: “We are with you today. We hope for friendship between Israel and the Soviet Union, and we condemn anti-Soviet propaganda.”
