Haifa Cement Works Meets Palestine Needs

The “Nesher” Cement Works here announces it is in a position to supply all cement requirements in Palestine, and in two or three months’ time its output will exceed 40,000 tons per month.

“Nesher” had supplied local requirements until the end of 1932, and even exported to neighboring countries. But in 1933, the enormous local demand turned Palestine into an importing rather than an exporting land.
