An American Jew, who brought his two older sons to Israel and converted them to Judaism without the knowledge of his Catholic wife, was ordered by a Haifa District Court today to return the boys to their mother.
In handing down the ruling, the Court explained that primary concern was the children’s welfare and the respect for the laws of friendly countries. The court decided that the United States courts should decide what the children’s best interests are in the case.
